The Chronic Kidney Disease Improvement in Research and Treatment Act aims to improve the public's understanding of, and expand access to, treatment for chronic kidney disease through increased research and innovation, expanded choice options for patients and improved patient care and quality outcomes. And most importantly for dialysis patients, it would ensure all patients, no matter what age, have access to Medigap.
Legislation for this issue was introduced last Congress, and we will let you know when it is introduced again soon.
